Kids in Worship

Rosemount United Methodist Church encourages families to worship together through Children friendly worship formats. Children are encouraged to participate in the worship service through:

Children's Time: During this portion of the worship service the pastor or staff member delivers a child friendly version of the lesson for the day. The format is interactive and encourages the children to participate.

Acolytes: Third through sixth graders may volunteer to participate as an acolyte during our 9:00, 10:30 or Wednesday pm services. Acolytes light the candles at the start of the service, extinguish them at the conclusion and stay in worship for the entire service. Choirs: We love to worship our Lord through song and music. We offer Sonbeams for children aged 4 through 1st grade and KFC (Kids for Christ) for children in 2nd grade through 4th grade.. Click here to find out more information about our choirs.
